Maerki Baumann appoints Patrick Vogt as Head External Asset Managers

Zurich, 20 August 2026 – The Zurich-based private bank Maerki Baumann & Co. Ltd. has appointed Patrick Vogt as Head External Asset Managers. He will take up his new role on 1 September 2026.

With the appointment of Patrick Vogt, Maerki Baumann is reaffirming its commitment to continuity and long-standing expertise in its business with external asset managers. As a client advisor, Patrick Vogt has been advising external asset managers at the Zurich-based private bank for almost 20 years and boasts a broad network as well as deep industry expertise. Prior to joining the bank in 2007, Patrick Vogt worked at Banque Générale du Luxembourg in Zurich in the areas of portfolio management, trading and external asset managers. He started his banking career with a banking apprenticeship at Union Bank of Switzerland in Baden.

Maerki Baumann has been working with external asset managers for more than 25 years. The bank’s offering includes custody services, trading in traditional and digital assets, access to investment products and research-based investment ideas as well as financing, e-banking and reporting solutions.
