The Zurich-based private bank Maerki Baumann & Co. AG has been named one of the best ten wealth managers in the German-speaking region for the first time by the Elite Report. The bank was also once again awarded the accolade “summa cum laude”, thereby confirming the top rating it has held in recent years.

Bilanz Private Banking Rating 2025

Maerki Baumann has once again been able to confirm its position at the top of Switzerland's private banking charts in 2025 after being named the second best Swiss private bank by the business magazine “Bilanz”.

This is the seventh time that the family company has achieved a top rating after taking first place in 2024, 2022, 2021 and 2017 in addition to second place in 2023 and 2019. After taking a leading position once more, Maerki Baumann was again recognised as a longstanding quality leader.

Best Swiss private bank and for the first time also overall winner! This was the fantastic result achieved by the Maerki Baumann team in the 2024 private banking rating of the business magazine "Bilanz".

This is the sixth time that the family company Maerki Baumann has achieved a top rating after taking first place in 2017, 2021 and 2022 in addition to second place in 2019 and 2023. After taking a leading position once more, Maerki Baumann was again recognised as a "longstanding quality leader".

Certification - Gsponer

In close cooperation with the company Gsponer Management Consulting, all our client advisors were successfully certified at the end of 2019. The recertification took place in 2023. This creates a uniform, binding framework for quality in which the advice given has the effect of strengthening our clients’ trust in us.
