Member of the Executive Board Head of Corporate Services Alexander Ising (born 1978), Dr oec. HSG, has been Head Corporate Services and a member of the Executive Board of our private bank since October 2016. In his role, he is responsible for the areas of Finance, Banking Operations, Mortgages & Retirement Planning and Treasury, and also oversees the ongoing development of our investment solutions and processes. In addition, he heads the Crisis Unit and the Credit Committee and is a member of the Asset-Liability Committee. His career at Maerki Baumann & Co. AG started back in 2009 in Investment Management, having previously worked as a fund analyst at the private bank Wegelin & Co. Alexander Ising studied economics at Ludwig Maximilians-Universität München and earned his doctorate at the University of St.Gallen (HSG), specialising in finance. During this time, he completed a research stay at Columbia University in New York and worked at the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance.Alexander Ising is married and the father of a daughter and a son. During his free time, he enjoys spending time in the mountains, whether hiking, skiing or travelling with his family.
