The Zurich-based private bank Maerki Baumann & Co. AG has confirmed its top rating of previous years for 2019, too, having been awarded the rating "summa cum laude" by the German Elite Report on Asset Managers for the 11th time running. This year, Maerki Baumann took second place among the Swiss banks. It has thus secured its leading position as one of the best banks in German-speaking Europe.

Maerki Baumann & Co. AG has appointed Gérard Piasko, a recognised financial markets expert, as its Chief Investment Officer. He will assume his new role at the Zurich-based private bank on 1 January 2018.
